The E-Myth Revisited by Michael E. Gerber
Michael Gerber’s theme is a simple one, but in a way that is what makes it so effective. When I first read the book I thought it had been written especially for small business owners or those thinking of starting a business. True it is essential reading for small business people BUT it is also a very valuable lesson for large business people, as I have repeatedly found in my coaching work.

If there has to be an all time number one book on management this has to be it. It is especially valuable to young managers starting out because it is easy to read yet makes powerful and important points in a way that makes them hard to forget.
