I wrote this post before taking my break.
In this day and age we all have a tendency to allow time to dictate if not our activities at least the speed of our activities. Time creates pressure on all of us… “I must complete this task by xx time.”
But time pressure is only a creation of our minds. We do not have to feel that pressure. We can dodge around the pressure simply by ignoring that it is pressure and doing something that will refresh our mind and energy like taking a short walk.
Tasks are completed more thoroughly and more effectively when they are well planned in advance. So, part of my “time out” time will be spent in simply mind-mapping my book. I know what I want to say, I know how I want to say it. Now all I have to do is clarify the order of play so that it wall comes out in a way that will help and stimulate my readers.
