Stress and anxiety are only too common in the world of work. They can cause us to lose self confidence and lose focus on what we should be doing. It is therefore very important that managers learn how to feel and be confident in any situation. Creating confidence in both yourself and in members of your team is an essential skill in the modern workplace.

During this 1-day workshop you will diagnose people who are exceptionally confident so that you understand the elements that make them confident. You will become familiar with their beliefs, values, self-image, self-talk, the stories they tell themselves and all the other elements they use to create that inner feeling of confidence. Then you will master the art of creating a similar structure within yourself, so that you can feel confident whenever you wish.
It is often the case that you need to model more than one confident person in order to find the elements of confidence that work for you. When I was modelling how people become excellent public speakers I had to model 5 different speakers in order to create a structure on which I could rely whenever I stand up to speak in front of a group of people.
Throughout this 1-day workshop you will practice methods of dealing with stress and replacing it with relaxed self-confidence until you the use of the techniques feels quite natural to you.
On this course you don’t just listen and take notes, you actively participate so that you can really feel the difference in your own stress levels and see others’ stress levels reducing as self-confidence rises.
Once you have mastered the skill of reducing stress you will always be able to use the same NLP techniques to help both yourself and others.

How do people work effectively? They relax, they listen, they observe, they understand what needs to be done. The key is relaxation. If you are tense and stressed you can never give of your best.
The aim of all NLP is to enable you to accomplish your goals in a way that is totally natural to you by bringing out the best that is in you.
You will be shown how to feel totally comfortable in building relationships and talking in a natural way about what you want to achieve.
How You Will Learn
- Your day starts with a talk about the history of NLP and why it is proving to be so useful, particularly in work situations. This will include examples and case studies from course leader David Ferrers’s 15 years of experience of working with NLP to coach business managers and private individuals.
- The day will then divide into a number of Explanation and Practice sessions.
At the start of each session you will see a detailed example of a specific NLP technique that is known to prove useful in reducing stress and building self-confidence. You will have an opportunity to ask questions until you are clear about how the technique works and how you will benefit from using it.
- The largest part of the each session will be spent practicing what you have learned with a variety of partners from amongst the course delegates. Your practice will be observed and coached by the workshop leader.

The workshop is managed by Personal Performance Coaching Ltd who will issue invoices and to whom all purchase orders should be addressed.
If you cancel your workshop 28 days or more before your workshop commencement date, all fees except a 10% Registration Fee will be refunded. If you cancel your workshop less than 28 days before your workshop commencement date, a Cancellation Fee of 20% of tuition fees will apply. All other fees except the registration fee will be refunded. No tuition fees will be refunded if you advise cancellation on or after your workshop commencement date.
