Dear David
Coaching has given me the confidence to take some big steps with my artwork. Setting out a detailed business plan has helped me to focus on my goals and to work to a reasonably strict regime. As time has gone on and unexpected opportunities have arisen I have had to adapt my business plan a little. However this does not interfere with the basic ideas and they continue to be addressed and worked on and towards.
The positive thinking outlook we worked on in the coaching sessions has lead me to believe that anything is achievable. This has helped keep me focused and not let set backs dampen my spirits. I am learning not to take things personally in business. This positive outlook and confidence receives a different response from the people I am dealing with too. The more trust I have in myself the more positive responses I get and the more positive results I achieve.
For sixteen years I have struggled to sell my art work, but now things seem to be happening faster than I could have ever expected. With a little organization, some positive thinking and hard work my life has changed immensely. All for the better I might add.
I had never heard of coaching and had no idea what to expect. Addressing my personal needs David has helped me improve my life ten fold. I would recommend your coaching to anyone. Particularly those who have got stuck in a rut either at home or at work, or people who have become bored or fed up with their present situation.
I can only hope others will get out of coaching the positive and rewarding turn a life can take.

In the past two months you have completely changed the way I think about myself and, in turn, the way I come across to others. I am more relaxed, happier, and have much more confidence and self-belief.
The great thing for me is seeing these changes have a positive affect on the people around me as I am now more confident, considerate and relaxed with them. I used to simply stress about how they were perceiving me and what I was going to say next.
Of course the original driver for this was to improve my presentation skills and move me on from spending weeks of preparation learning scripts parrot-fashion. I have already given my first presentation to an audience since being coached by you and the difference was enormous.
Don’t get me wrong, I was still nervous, but imaging myself as a good presenter, preparing from the audience’s point of view, being comfortable with pauses and all the other techniques you have taught me meant I was in control and comfortable throughout. I had the start and end in my head, and my key bullet points and that was all I had to remember.
My presentation went very well and I felt very good at the end of it (rarely the case previously). So… now I need more practice to keep improving!
One thing that has struck me through this process is how simple the changes I have had to make have been. In fact one of the biggest barriers has been my natural inclination to over-complicate things. Your techniques are obviously very powerful, and you seem to have a knack for using the right language and levers to encourage me to make the changes and see them through.
I am going to keep practising your techniques and I will keep improving. I am confident that my self-image, my self-confidence, my success and my happiness will keep getting better.
