Back in 1953 Dr Norman Vincent Peale wrote a book entitled The Power of Positive Thinking. This book launched him on a career as a motivational speaker that took him all over the United States.
The foundation of Positive Thinking is that you must have control of your mind. You must literally make yourself think in a positive way. This is simply a discipline. But it is a very important discipline because most people are not prepared to take charge of their minds.
The rewards for taking charge of your mind and making yourself think positively in any situation are that you become a more positive person – you achieve more positive results.
Positive thinking should be an essential part of your strategy for becoming the person you want to become.
Try it for just one day. Every time you hear yourself saying something in a negative way or thinking in a negative way change your thinking so that you rephrase your thought into a positive.
You will be amazed at the difference.
