Hurrah, there is a solution to every problem. I know this to be true because my NLP presuppositions told me so. I can’t think of the solution right now, but I know it’s there.
This is the positive attitude, the positive frame of mind that drives people who make breakthroughs. It was the positive intent behind President John F. Kennedy’s statement in his inaugural address when he said: “ I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the Earth.”
Notice that President Kennedy presented this statement as a Belief. It was a belief that became a reality despite the multiple problems that the scientists at NASA had to overcome in order to achieve the objective that the President had set for them.
When you believe that you can find a solution to any problem you are much more likely to find a solution than the person who believes it to be impossible.
